History

In 1992, three highly trained, motivated principals joined together to develop G.L.C. Outsourcing Services, an outsourcing organization destined to be recognized for high quality, dedicated employees, and successful year over year growth. The three founding partners included Gerard J. Chambers, John C. Hayes, and James D. Ryan, Jr.

Headquartered in Rochester, NY, the company’s founding philosophy was to improve efficiency and productivity and lower operating and overhead costs on a continuing basis for each customer. The principals committed to being actively and personally involved with and accessible to each client.

Today, GLC remains independent and 100% owned and operated by Gerard Chambers, CEO, and John Hayes, COO. The two principals have more than 58 years of combined customer service experience and more than 43 years of combined experience in outsourcing support solutions.

As the largest provider of ourtourcing services in upstate New York, GLC Business Services services the northeastern United States with branch offices in New York City and Washington, D.C. Our client offices are located in:

• Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany, NY.
• The New York Metropolitan area including Manhattan, White Plains, and Garden City, NY; Stamford, CT; and Manchester, NH.
• Mid-Atlantic areas including Washington, DC, Alexandria and McLean, VA, and Baltimore, Md.
